"Royal Canin Winter Chempionship 2012" - Baltic Winter cup 2012

When: 11th of February
Where: www.kamparkalns.lv (3km from Talsi)
Categories (Open and FCI Nordic classes):
1 dog skijoring
2 dog sled (min 1x break)
4 dog sled (min 1x break and 1x hook)
6 dog sled (min 2x breaks and 1x hook)
Minipulling* - dogs under 20 and above 20kg
*Minipulling is a fun event - dog has to pull a mini sled of 20kg over ~100m for fastest time (equipment provided by organisers)
Other rules: IFSS race rulles.

 

Registrattion:
till 24th of January 2012 - 20 EUR (next category 50% off)
till 5th of February 2012 - 30 EUR (next category 50% off)
Minipulling - 10 EUR

One day - 2 runs - one in daytime other in darkness. After the event - musher party and awards ceremony.
Track - prepared by profesional tractor ("Retrack"). Track lenght: 5km (will be adjusted precisly when event comes closer). Includes up and down slopes. (no hills as in 2011!!!)
Track will be marked with elements so that they also reflect light in darkness.

Musher party after the race together with the awards ceremony.

Baltic Cup 2012 (Dryland)

It will be all ready the 4th season for the Baltic cup and this time there will be 4 events over 4 countries:

 

1) Latvia – 28-29 April - Opening race

2) Russia (St.Petersbourg) – 9-10 - June

3) Lithuania - 6-7 - October

4) Estonia - 20-21 October – Final
